I love spicy food and these wings give your taste buds a good kick of heat! If you are not a fan of spicy food, just simply leave out the chilli. If you are concerned about the skin on the chicken being too fatty, simply use chicken tenders instead, they are equally delicious!
1 teaspoon chilli powder 2 teaspoons dried thyme 2 teaspoons turmeric 4 tablespoons olive oil Juice of 1 large lemon Chopped coriander to serve
Preheat the oven to 180C (350F)
Into a bowl place the spices, olive oil and lemon and mix to a paste, if it's too thick add a little more lemon juice or olive oil.
Place the wings into a heatproof roasting dish. Lay the chicken into the dish and season with cracked black pepper and sea salt. Brush on both sides of each chicken wing (or nibble) with the marinade.
Bake until the juices run clear, if you want the chicken to be crispy skinned, place under the grill for a few minutes just before the chicken is cooked through, keep an eye on them though, you don't want them to burn!
Serve on a platter or in a large bowl and sprinkle with chopped coriander.
HELPFUL TIP: If you are using chicken tenders, keep a close eye on them as they cook really fast!
